Sharing is caring!

Essential oils are powerful tools for helping us navigate our emotions, enabling our moods to shift from tense chaotic thoughts to embracing gratitude, calming down, and continuing to live feeling less restricted and more capable. In this article, we are sharing how we use essential oils to help contribute to our emotional healing journey, and encourage you to pick up your oils and follow along.

How essential oils impact your emotions

Let's talk emotions! Essential oils provide powerful influence to how we feel, which makes them perfect for assisting in emotional healing from past traumas.

Using essential oils to help you through emotional healing

Use this emotional healing protocol every morning and night for 30 days. You will:

  • Feel more enthusiastic.
  • Live feeling deeper gratitude
  • Feel filled with excitement
  • Attract happier, more supportive people to you
  • Feel more creative
  • Feel more capable
  • Live your life more authentically to who you really are

** PLEASE NOTE ** Don't be fooled by clever marketing. Not all essential oils are created equally. Make sure you're not wasting your money on fake or altered essential oils (even if they're labeled as “pure essential oil”). Don't miss our explosive report outlining the dirty little secrets of the essential oil industry to ensure you're not wasting your money on brands of oils that legally mislead you through deceitful marketing practices.

Step 1: Increasing your confidence

Put Valor oil on the soles of both feet at night-time along with Highest Potential. These blends are effective in erasing limited thinking. Valor balances and equalizes the body’s energies, thereby increasing oxygen intake to the pineal gland, the seat of our higher intelligence and intuitive faculties. You will wake up in the morning more self-assured and more ready to start the day.

How to DIY Valor:

  • 15 drops black spruce
  • 20 drops geranium
  • 12 drops blue tansy
  • 15 drops frankincense
  • 10 drops grand fir (white fir)

Blend in an empty 5ml bottle, or dilute in a 10 or 15 ml bottle filled the rest of the way with your favorite carrier oil and topped with a metallic roller top.

How to DIY Highest Potential:

  • 15 drops each of blue cypress and ylang ylang
  • 12 drops jasmine
  • 10 drops each of cedarwood and lavender
  • 9 drops each of galbanum and geranium
  • 8 drops frankincense
  • 7 drops sandalwood
  • 5 drops blue tansy
  • 3 drops each of grand fir (white fir), cinnamon, and rose

Blend in a 10 or 15 ml bottle, fill the rest of the way with your favorite carrier oil, and top with a roller top.

Step 2: Promote harmony from within

Massage one drop of Harmony oil on each of the energy center points of your body. There are seven of these along the spine: Coccyx, Sacrum, Lumbar, Dorsal (heart), Cervical (where neck meets shoulders), and Medulla (hollow place at center base of skull), and Pineal (center of forehead).

You can also massage Harmony on the crown of the head.

Harmony balances the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems which, in turn, gives us progressive creativity and feelings of confidence. “The biggest sin is not having confidence in yourself,” says Gary. “He who lacks confidence lacks life.”

Step 3: Focus on forgiveness

Forgiveness is key to healing from past emotional traumas, whether you're currently consciously aware of the trauma or not.

Apply Forgiveness oil around the navel with the right hand, going clockwise several times and think of situations where you need to forgive yourself or others. We beat up on ourselves, but everyone makes mistakes. Yet we struggle to forgive our own mistakes and those of others.

Unforgiveness is one of the most common roots of physical, mental, and spiritual disease. Lack of forgiveness does not make the other person sick: it makes us sick.

Forgiveness is for our own benefit. It is accomplished in five steps.

  1. Forgive yourself for allowing the other person to affect your health and happiness.
  2. Forgive the other person for any harm he or she may have caused you. (This need not be done in the presence of the person being forgiven, but is an inner adjustment on your part.)
  3. Give the other person permission to forgive you.
  4. See the good in the situation.
  5. Be thankful for the experience and the lesson it taught you.

Inhale and apply Forgiveness oil while going through these steps, and repeat as often as necessary to clear the feelings of unforgiveness.

Please note… this does NOT mean you have to confront your abuser. This forgiveness is done on a spiritual level. Both your souls will know it and feel it, even if it isn't done in person. Forgiving does NOT mean condoning the abuse that happened. It is releasing the trauma from continuing to control you.

How to make Forgiveness Essential Oil Blend:

  • 10 drops melissa,
  • 7 drops geranium,
  • 5 drops each of frankincense and sandalwood,
  • 4 drops each of lavender, lemon, jasmine,
  • 3 drops each of bergamot and ylang ylang,
  • 2 drops palmarosa,
  • 1 drop each of helichrysum and rose

Step 4: Releasing suppressed anger

Negative energy goes into the blood, and then into the liver for cleansing, and here the toxins can remain trapped. As a result, the liver often becomes a storage place for anger, resentment, bitterness, hatred, jealousy, envy, addictions and a host of destructive feelings.

Apply a few drops of Release oil on your tongue to release the poison of stored negative emotions from the liver. Rub Release over the liver area. Be sure to drink A LOT of additional pure water and do a liver cleanse (I recommend drinking twice the amount of water you do in a normal day).

Step 5: Bring your mind to living in the present moment

When we live in the past or dwell on the future, we are not being productive in the present.

Energize three drops of Present Time oil by making clockwise circles on the oil in the palm of your hand, and then apply it to the thymus reflex area (centrally in the upper chest area, 3 fingers’ width below the suprasternal notch – the soft spot between your collar bones).

Besides keeping you focused on today’s tasks, this can also help you financially, by increasing your abundance consciousness in the present moment.

Step 6: Embrace your Inner Child

Often our souls ache from everything we have experienced in our lives. This trauma directly effects us in everything we do, see, feel, and perceive. It helps to view that part of our mind as though we are looking and interacting with ourselves as children.

“When you are a child all things are possible. There are no limitations…”

Gary Young

Apply one drop of Inner Child oil onto the tip of your thumb and then place your thumb onto the roof of your mouth. This energetically opens the cranial sutures and stimulates the pineal, pituitary, and other areas of the emotional brain that occupy the space just above the roof of your mouth.

Walking backwards as you do this while you have your thumb in your mouth may look stupid, but it changes the rotation in the pelvis, elongating the spine, and decompressing the discs in your back. As a result, you can clear the nerve channels for energy to flow smoothly throughout your brain and body.

“When you find your inner child, you have found your true self. The child in you is your creativity.”

I highly recommend using these essential oils in a roller bottle to make applying easier.

Need empty bottles? You can order them from any bottle supply shop that offers essential oil bottles or even off Amazon. Personally, we save our old essential oil bottles, remove the labels, and reuse the bottles with a roller fitment. On occasion, we indulge in a YL branded roller bottle (they're so pretty). To reuse your bottles, ensure they are clean by soaking the empty bottle disassembled in boiling water for at least 15 minutes. Then let dry. Need a fun roller bottle?
