I think we've all been there… cringing as you can feel the tension well up in your head… that dense, disruptive cloud that overtakes you until you can't think or function, feeling the need to dive under your bed with your favorite blanket, with all drapes and doors shut. No sound. No light. Just nothing while you brace for the suck to continue until relief breaks through and you can finally breathe again without using your exhale to chant anything that could resemble prayers and cries for the tense, dense moment to stop. Has it been hours? Has it been minutes? Does it matter? Ugh. Those moments of suck.

For a long time now, I've been using essential oils for various things. It started with just something nice to smell that wasn't toxic. Then they helped me curb an upset stomach. They helped me move past my baby blues and learn to love myself again. We use them occasionally in our cooking for a different flavor profile. We use them on our kids and dogs. Peppermint, marjoram, rosemary, basil, helichrysum, copaiba, Roman chamomile, and lavender are all great for helping, whether individually or combined.
