Directions for making your Herb Cheese and Yogurt Dip
In a small food processor, add together yogurt, goat cheese, garlic, lemon oil, dill essential oil, salt, and olive oil. Puree until the texture is smooth.
Pour the dip into a bowl, and stir in your chopped herbs.
Cover, and chill until cold, or until you’re ready to serve it. We recommend chilling for a minimum of 2 hours.
Serve with an assortment of raw veggies for dipping. This also is a wonderful addition to a sourdough bread bowl.
Tips for Sourcing Quality Ingredients
Quality is everything when it comes to honoring your physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
We love to buy local and grow our own herbs and spices, when possible. This way we know the conditions our herbs are grown, and can better ensure there aren’t any potentially harmful chemicals used in the process. We even grow them using an indoor hydroponic system during long stretches of time when my family lives full time in our RV. When you start growing your own herbs, you quickly realize the love and care you provide to the plants are returned to you in healthier plants that taste better.
For essential oils used in our recipes, we highly recommend sticking with Young Living’s Vitality Essential Oils. Young Living is a world leader in the essential oil industry with over 25 years experience in farming and distilling high quality essential oils. They’ve done the research and gone through all the trials and errors to know exactly when to harvest their plants and how long to distill them. They take organic to the next level, refusing to use any potentially harmful chemical (even ones approved by organic certifying organizations).
