Essential Oil Blends for Loneliness and Isolation (without DIY)

Using essential oils to help you through your lonely season doesn’t require DIY. There are plenty of pre-made blends you can find that will work beautifully at helping you reconnect with your higher self, and release the pain from isolation.

How To Use Essential Oils (Safely) for Loneliness and Isolation:

There are 2 main ways to use these essential oils for helping you navigate feeling lonely and isolated.

  • Topically, on your skin
  • Aromatically, through a diffuser or diffusing jewelry

If you’re using your essential oils on your skin, please ensure you’re using them safely by diluting them. We recommend diluting your oils 1 drop essential oil/blend per ml of carrier oil.

SAFETY WARNING: Bergamot is a photosensitive oil. Please remember to not use it topically on your skin anywhere that will receive direct sunlight within 72 hours. Most other citrus essential oils require not using them on areas of your skin which will see direct sunlight within 12 hours.

A carrier oil can be any cold-pressed, seed-based oil (ideally organic and unrefined). This includes most cooking oil, like coconut oil, avocado oil, and olive oils. Personally, we LOVE using sweet almond oil, grapeseed oil, and the V6 Carrier oil (made by Young Living).

If you’re diffusing, please ensure you’re diffusing your oils safely. Think less is more, and be sure to give your body a break as needed. Diffusing too much oil or for too long (or both) can lead to dizziness and other undesirable sensations.

I personally LOVE wearing diffuser necklaces and occasionally wear diffusing bracelets. Especially ones that are fully customizable and attached to jewelry that reduce our exposure to EMFs (and repel mosquitos) using magnets. My favorite source of diffusing jewelry for me, my family, and my clients are found over at Magnetude Jewelry and feature felt as diffusing material with those magnets. Just pick out your necklace or bracelet jewelry base, and the diffuser pieces attach magnetically.
